Synopsis

DEATH AT A FUNERAL is a hilarious dark comedy that puts the “fun” in “funeral”!  When the patriarch of a dysfunctional family dies, his funeral turns into family circus.  Misplaced bodies, blackmail, indecent exposure and a corpse that won’t stay in the box get the party started, but when old family skeletons start tumbling out of the closet, all Hell breaks loose.

DEATH AT A FUNERAL was written by Dean Craig (upcoming Down and Dirty Pictures, Caffeine) and produced by Sidney Kimmel (Adventureland, Lars and the Real Girl), William Horberg (Milk, The Kite Runner), Chris Rock (Good Hair, “Everybody Hates Chris”), Share Stallings (upcoming A Few Best Men, Curious George 2) and Laurence Malkin (upcoming A Few Best Men, Caffeine). It was executive produced by Jim Tauber (Management), Bruce Toll (Adventureland, Management), Dean Craig (“Off the Hook”) and Glenn S. Gainor (Obsessed, Quarantine). It co-stars Keith David (ATL, First Sunday), Peter Dinklage (Elf, The Station Agent) and Ron Glass (Lakeview Terrace, Serenity). It was distributed theatrically by Screen Gems and has a run time of approximately 92 minutes. It has been rated R for language, drug content and some sexual humor.
