Here’s a flick that I did not get to see because I was out of town. I had every intention of squeezing this one into my plans on my birthday this past August, but try as I might I couldn’t fit it in. News flash! Come this Thanksgiving, I won’t have that problem because the Ethan Hawke/Selena Gomez vehicle, Getaway, is coming to the Blu-ray format just in time for the holidays with exhilarating behind-the-scenes content and interviews with the cast and crew and more! The Blu-ray features the theatrical version of the film in hi-definition on Blu-ray, and the theatrical version in standard definition on DVD. Both the single disc Blu-ray and the single disc DVD include UltraViolet, which allows consumers to download and instantly stream the standard definition theatrical version of the film to a wide range of devices including computers and compatible tablets, smartphones, game consoles, Internet-connected TVs and Blu-ray players.*
