The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy (Extended Edition) is Available for Pre-order! Details Revealed!

With the Star Wars Saga on it’s way to Blu-ray and the Indiana Jones movies in the works, everything is finally coming to high definition and now we have this to look forward to!  While the Lord of the Rings Trilogy has already been released on Blu-ray, see my reviews here, here, and here, they were only the theatrical editions which had a lot less story included.  I’ve always preferred the extended editions, and I’m happy to report that the extended edition box set is available to pre-order right now from Amazon.com! Does this set include any extra “endings” that we may not have seen before?

From what I have gleaned about this set from reading in multiple places, it seems that all the extras are on DVD still. I’m still down, but I hope to learn more.
