Sink Your Teeth Into True Blood:The Complete Fifth Season On Blu-ray!

I actually fell off the True Blood band wagon early last June.  After being a devoted fan for 4 seasons I kind of felt let down by the weak fairy story lines, but I’m willing to give it another chance.  I’m willing to extend the olive branch and see what I missed out on.  All this and more will be mine come this coming May 21st when my Blu-ray wish is finally granted (now if I could just get a good deal on Season 4…lol).  Check out the full press release below from HBO Home Entertainment and feed your thirst for blood by pre-ordering Season 5 today!

Love triangles are broken, new alliances are formed and friendships are shattered. It’s just another normal day in Bon Temps. With Bill and Eric behind bars, Tara getting used to her new life as a vampire, and Alcide turning his back on the wolfpack, there’s no telling the chaos that could ensue!  The drama unfolds on May 21, 2013 when True Blood: The Complete Fifth Season debuts on Blu-ray with HBO Select, DVD and Digital Download. Fans can delve deeper into the show with tons of exclusive special features, an episode “Autopsy,” Authority Confessionals, interviews with the cast and interactive guides. True Blood is constantly one of the top-selling TV on DVD/BD titles, so hurry up and check out this season before the (faerie) light goes out!

New York, N.Y., March 13, 2013 – A vampire civil war is brewing, Sookie’s best friend is dead and an old vampire foe has returned to wreak havoc on the human race. True Blood continues to be one of television’s most popular series and the wildly entertaining fifth season will be available on Blu-ray with DVD and Digital Copy, DVD  and Digital Download on May 21, 2013. Both sets include the full 12-episode season, along with extensive bonus materials including exclusive interviews and never-before-seen content.

Called “fangtastic” (US Weekly) and “cheeky…great fun” (Variety.com), True Blood: The Complete Fifth Season finds Sookie triumphant over her climactic encounter with Marnie. However, her showdown with Debbie may have had fatal consequences for Tara. Meanwhile, the denizens of Bon Temps are approaching a new crisis with Russell Edgington, Bill and Eric are in deep with the Authority and new threats from unexpected sources loom.
