Cleopatra Entertainment announces the June 23rd release of the new action/adventure film The Penance on Digital Video. Set in the underworld of a corrupt city, The Penance follows Trav, a battle-scarred ex-mercenary haunted by the ghosts of his past. When his younger sister is abducted by the ruthless Santiago trafficking cartel, he and his foster brother, Stephano, launch a desperate mission to bring her home. But their rescue erupts into bloodshed, ending in tragedy: Sofia is murdered before their eyes, leaving Trav scarred, voiceless, and teetering on the edge of madness.
Consumed by grief and rage, Trav descends into a merciless campaign of vengeance, dismantling the Santiago empire one brutal piece at a time.
