Oz The Great And Powerful – Opening Title Sequence
Oz The Great and Powerful is currently out in theaters and making a lot of money. This is the Sam Raimi directed film, starring James Franco as Oscar Diggs, the man who would travel to the land of Oz and realize his destiny, while also interacting with three witches played by Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz, and Mila Kunis. I thought the film was a lot of fun, despite some of my issues with it (review HERE). One of the aspects I enjoyed the most about it was Raimi’s choice to blend a lot of modern sensibilities with a lot of the practically achieved wonder of old fashioned circus acts. This is best represented in the extraordinary opening title sequence, which has now been made available online for people to see.
