The Spirit Appears on Blu-ray This April

Like it or hate it…The Spirit is coming! The much criticized Frank Miller production has been given a Blu-ray release date. Lionsgate announced an April 14th date for the Blu-ray and DVD release of The Spirit. The Spirit had quite the all-star cast, including the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes and many more, but ultimately it was a box-office flop. Nonetheless, I am still excited for this Blu-ray release as I let out a few chuckles here and there throughout the film. We have not received the official press release from Lionsgate as of yet, but all we know thus far is to expect a 1080P AVC MPEG-4 video transfer with a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 surround mix.
