SDCC 2017: Behind the Battle: War for the Planet of the Apes
One of my most anticipated films of the year, War for the Planet of the Apes, is going to be hosting a panel next week at Comic-Con, which will explore the visual effects of the film and show behind-the-scenes footage. My schedule is pretty jam-packed, but I’m going to try and fit this one in. The POTA franchise is one of my all time favorites, and I just can’t say no to anything POTA related.
Panel Description:
Halon Entertainment is bringing a deep dive behind the artistic and technical visual effects tour de force: War for the Planet of the Apes to Comic-Con. VFX Producer, and film Co-Producer Ryan Stafford, Previs and Postvis Supervisor AJ Briones and HALON Entertainment Lead/Sup Casey Pyke will take the audience through the process to create the monumental battle between Ceasar and the army of humans that will determine the fate of both of their species and the planet. This panel will show exclusive behind the scenes material, and is a must for film fans and artists.
