Thoughts on the ‘Resident Evil AfterLife’ Trailer?
I never was a big Resident Evil fan. I never even played the original video games. It took a woman at work to convince me to give them another try. So like usual, I fell in love with them upon my second viewing. My wife was nice enough to pick up the trilogy Blu-ray set 2 years ago for me on Valentine’s Day. They are not the greatest movies by any standards, but now and then everyone needs to view a mindless zombie a$$-kicking movie to help escape the stress of everyday life. Milla Jovovich makes one last return, this time in REAL 3D, to reprise her role as Alice in Screen Gem’s Resident Evil AfterLife. Rumor has it that this film will end the current franchise and it will be later rebooted at an undetermined date. I’m all right with that as long as we get to see Milla hopefully go out on top one last time kicking some zombie-a$$ and taking down the peeps behind Umbrella. And I pray to God they don’t do something stupid like make this a PG-13 rated film.
So the first theatrical trailer surfaced just days ago and I thought this would be an appropriate venue to share it with our readers. The movie is touted as being filmed with James Cameron’s revolutionary technology so in other words, if the movie sucks, then at least the 3D should be good. Am I right? Anyway, if you haven’t checked it out, then what are you waiting for. I am anxious to hear your thoughts. The YouTube hosted video prohibits us from embedding it on this page so I apologize in advancee, but you are going to have to click the custom graphic I made to check out the very first trailer of Resident Evil AfterLife in HD. Enjoy!

I love Milla Jovovich, I think she’s beautiful and has some great acting chops but this just looks awful.
I’m looking forward to it. It looks like it’s going to be 3-D done right.
They filmed it in actual 3-D, not some lame 2-D to 3-D conversion.
Well I agree partially with Chris, but mostly with Gerard. I’m looking forward to seeing her kick some zombie a$$ one last time! And in 3-D! 🙂
Someone please tell me these films got better after the first one. If not, I’d rather roll around in broken glass than watch the sequels.
