The national theatrical tour of Kevin Kerslake’s critically acclaimed documentary AS I AM: THE LIFE AND TIME$ OF DJ AM, about the remarkable life and untimely passing of legendary DJ and mash-up pioneer DJ AM aka Adam Goldstein continues to grow.
Following a triumphant run at festivals including Tribeca and Hot Docs, noted indie distributor Abramorama today announced 13 more cities across the US and Canada, bringing the total so far to 40 confirmed dates, with more yet to come and a digital release on all platforms from FilmBuff on June 14.

DJ AM experienced meteoric success through both raw talent and sheer determination, overcoming what for others might have been staggering adversity before tragically succumbing to the demons that dogged his life and career. The film’s pacing and style captures the frenetic speed and dynamism of DJ AM’s life as well as introspective moments of candor and insight.
