Saturday Night Blu-Fever
This week just keeps getting better and better! One of the all-time classics has just been reannounced for the Blu-ray format. What do I mean by reannounced? Well…back in the days of the Format Wars a company known as Paramount bowed out of the Blu-ray market momentarily until HD DVD got its a#$ kicked in and ultimately succumbed to dismissal. Well anyway, Saturday Night Fever was among one of those Paramount titles that was previously announced for Blu-ray and then mysteriously vanquished once the news of Paramount hit that it was shunning the Blu-ray format. Well I am pleased to announce that Paramount has officially listed May 5th as the Blu-ray release date for John Travolta’s legendary role in Saturday Night Fever. Take out those dancing shoes…its jive talkin’.
