All Spider-Man Movies Are Coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray October 17th!

I guess it’s a Spider-Man kind of day with news of Homecoming here today.   Sony Pictures Home Entertainment brings back the iconic web-slinger in two must-own collections, SPIDER-MAN LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION and THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION, both swinging onto 4K Ultra HD October 17th.  Both collections are available as limited edition Digibooks that feature photos, details about the making of the films and much more for avid fans.  Check out all the details down below!

The SPIDER-MAN LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION features the original trilogy of Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3, all directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man and Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane. In this seven-disc set, Spider-Man battles such classic villains as Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), Venom (Topher Grace) and New Goblin (James Franco).

The AMAZING SPIDER-MAN LIMITED EDITION COLLECTION includes The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, both directed by Marc Webb and starring Andrew Garfield in the title role with Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy. In this five-disc set, Spider-Man (Garfield) battles such fan favorite villains as The Lizard (Rhys Ifans), Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan).

All five theatrical features across both collections are presented in full 4K resolution, presenting the full resolution, detail and color depth inherent in the original elements. 4K Ultra HD brings the full power of these restorations into the home, featuring four times the resolution of high definition, high dynamic range (HDR)–which produces brilliant highlights, vibrant colors and greater contrast on compatible displays. All five theatrical features are also presented with Dolby Atmos audio, creating an immersive soundscape for these action-packed blockbusters.

Spider-Man 2: Theatrical version has a run time of approximate 127 minutes and is rated PG-13 for stylized action violence.

Spider-Man 3:
Directed by Sam Raimi, Spider-Man 3 with a screenplay by Sam Raimi & Ivan Raimi and Alvin Sargent, based on a screen story by Sam Raimi & Ivan Raimi and the Marvel comic by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.  The film is produced by Laura Ziskin, Avi Arad and Grant Curtis and executive produced by Stan Lee, Kevin Feige and Joseph M. Caracciolo.

Spider-Man 3 has a run time of approximate 139 minutes and is rated PG-13 for sequences of intense action violence.
