Your New Fave Romcom THINGS LIKE THIS Hits Digital TODAY and Blu-ray June 17th!

When two people sharing the same name find themselves falling in love, it seems as if destiny has woven their lives together amidst the restless heartbeat of New York City. Under the city’s shimmering lights and endless skyline, everything feels perfectly aligned. But in a place where dreams and realities blur, is fate ever as predictable as it seems? To celebrate Pride Month, new romantic comedy THINGS LIKE THIS, written and directed by Max Talisman, will hit digital download and on-demand across major digital entertainment platforms in North America. The following week, on June 17, the film will be available on DVD & Blu-ray from MPX Releasing through Amazon.

In the chaos of Manhattan, Zack Anthony, a struggling writer with a knack for bad luck in love, crosses paths with Zack Mandel, a suave talent agent assistant stuck in a relationship and desperate to escape. Their story begins with a mix of charm and awkwardness—Anthony’s wallet is empty, and Mandel swoops in to save the day by paying for his drink. A chance encounter turns into a plan for drinks, but things go hilariously sideways when Anthony accidentally hits Mandel with a door, landing them in urgent care.

As they navigate their budding connection, they discover a jaw-dropping twist: they were each other’s first kiss at sleepaway camp years ago. In a city of millions, how could they possibly find each other again? While sparks fly, life throws a few classic rom-com obstacles their way—misunderstandings, career struggles, and a bit of cold feet.

Against the backdrop of late-night diners, quirky friends, and the relentless hum of the city that never sleeps, their journey is filled with humor, heart, and the kind of serendipity only New York can deliver.

Adam is a lifelong physical media collector. His love of collecting began with a My First Sony radio and his parent's cassette collection. Since the age of 3, Adam has collected music on vinyl, tape and CD and films on VHS, DVD, Blu-ray and UHD Blu-ray. Adam likes to think of himself as the queer voice of Whysoblu. Outside of his work as a writer at Whysoblu, Adam teaches preschool and trains to be a boxer although admittedly, he's not very good.
