The Daily Blu…September 2, 2009
There’s not too much going on in the world of Blu-ray today. Besides the press release I received from Fox today detailing the October 27th Blu-ray release of Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs, all I have is one other Blu-ray release to mention. Starz/Anchor Bay has announced plans to bring the thriller Not Forgotten to Blu-ray on November 3rd with a 1080P video presentation and a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround soundtrack.
In major movie news, we leanred of three key 2010 release dates. Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass has a release date of April 16th. I, for one, cannot wait for that. The Expendables, which stars Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke and more will hit the silver screen with a bang on August 20th. That’s another one I am looking forward to! Last, but not least, Boondock Saints 2: All Saint’s Day! will be released by Sony Pictures on October 30th.
