True Blood: Season 1 Blu-ray Updates!
Updates! So soon you ask? That is correct…when it comes to vampires I don’t waste any time in reporting the latest and greatest in news. The cover art for True Blood: The Complete First Season on Blu-ray has been released. As stated before, the Blu-ray set is up for pre-order on Amazon and I am pretty sure the price will probably drop just a bit before its May 19th release date. Either way it will be mine! I do one erroneous report I need to clarify. Last week I stated the HD audio track would be a Dolby TrueHD surround track. I was wrong about that. The HD audio track will be a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio surround track.
As stated before the video will be and will remain a 1080P VC-1 presentation. All twelve Season 1 episodes will be spread over 5 BD-50 Blu-ray discs.
Not known prior, we now know most of the extras that we can expect from the Blu-ray box set. Those include audio commentaries, commercials, “True Blood Enhanced Viewing” (this appears to be some kind of BonusView extra for the Blu-ray), making-of-documentaries, character bios and more.
