BD-Live ‘Holmes’ Screening w/ Robert Downey Jr.

Rumor has it that a BD-Live Community Screening of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes is going to take place on April 1, 2010 at 9:00PM EST (6:00 PM Pacific). But wait! That’s not even the good part. On hand to host the BD-Live event will be none other than the man himself…Robert Downey Jr. The first 100,000 BD-Live members who sign up will be eligible for a spot in this event. Like in the past, participants can submit questions through their computers and other web enabled devices.

I was in on the screening with Christopher Nolan as thousands of us watched The Dark Knight. I didn’t quite know what to expect and despite the fact that you can’t actually here the celebrity guest speak, it is a rather cool experience to get their thoughts and aspects of the film as their replies appear on screen. You also get some interesting inside info from them about the work that isn’t on any behind the scenes footage. Brilliant!
