The Explosive Brick Mansions Hits Blu-ray This September
I very purposefully avoided catching Brick Mansions in theaters, as I am a huge fan of the original version of this film, the french action flick District B13. That said, this is one of the late Paul Walker’s final films, let alone another reason to see what it looks like when RZA commits to a major acting role. Adding on David Belle, who starred in the original as the exact same character, has me curious as well, so I guess I will now get the chance, with Brick Mansions now hitting Blu-ray on September 9th. It should be noted that this Blu-ray will feature a much longer unrated version as well. Read on the learn more about this upcoming release.
Action-Packed Thrill-Ride Starring Paul Walker Arrives on Digital HD™
August 26 and on Blu-ray™ and DVD September 9
Fast & Furious star Paul Walker takes it to the limit in this gritty thrill-ride packed with high-flying Parkour stunts. Walker stars as Damien, an undercover cop determined to bring down Tremaine (RZA), the crime lord who murdered his father. Tremaine rules the violent criminal compound known as “Brick Mansions,” but he’s thwarted at every turn by a heroic ex-convict named Lino (David Belle). Their paths never should have crossed, but when Tremaine kidnaps Lino’s girlfriend, Damien and Lino become unlikely allies, and must work together to stop Tremaine’s sinister plot to devastate the entire city.
