Comic-Con 2017: Marvel’s Hall H Panel

I’m a tad biased since I’m completely smitten by the DCEU movie universe as evident over here, but that doesn’t mean I have blinders on either.  Marvel’s Hall H Comic-Con panel may not have been as energetic, technology embracing or even as fun as the presentation put on by Warner Bros. that same day, but it’s ultimately the quality of the trailers on display that count.  That much I cannot dispute as Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War all look incredible.  So rather than splitting this panel out into three separate posts, which it easily could be, I want to cover them in order below as they happened on the Hall H stage in front of the captive 6,000 plus patrons in attendance.  We waited all day to see this footage and I don’t think anyone left that Hall H with the slightest look of disappointment on their faces.  Come on!  I’ll show you around!

Before we get into the individual movie panels themselves, Marvel Studios President and Producer Kevin Feige was presented with a lifetime achievement award from Comic-Con due to his brilliantly masterplan over 10 years to put together a cinematic universe known fondly to all of us as the MCU.

The first movie showcased within the Hall H Marvel panel was Thor: Ragnarok.  If you want to talk about a fun trailer, look no further than this one!  Wow!  In attendance as you can see per my exclusive photos below were Chris Hemsworth, Cate Blanchett, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and many more!

Up next we were treated to a Black Panther movie panel featuring the cast as shown below in my photos, new footage and the new poster.

I told ya there was new footage shown at the panel, but Marvel hasn’t released it online.  You’ll just have to take my word for it that the footage was intense and revealing.  That’s all I’ll say!  Here’s a new poster to gaze at instead!

If you missed out on the Avengers: Infinity War trailer shown exclusively at Disney’s D23 convention, you were in luck here in San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H.  However, we were warned not to record that footage.  Since that debut, leaked versions of the trailer have found their way online.  For each streamable link that gets taken down, another one springs up.  But you won’t see that happen here!  We abide by the rules at Why So Blu.  Let’s just say it contains some spoilers as to how Thor: Ragnarok ends as well as first good look at the mighty Thanos in action!  Below we have Chris Hemsworth and some of the Marvel gang getting the crowd pumped before showing this exclusive footage that you can’t see.  Nah nah nah nah nah!
