District 9 Infiltrates Blu-ray This December

District 9 will make a Blu-ray appearance in the year 2009 with just two days left to spare.  That’s right!  Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a December 29th Blu-ray debut for this summer’s surprise sci-fi hit…District 9.  The two-disc set will feature 1080P AVC video, a 1.85:1 aspect ratio and a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.  Sony has even went as far to already announce the special features which we listed below.  There is no pre-order up for the title as of yet.
