Kill The Irishman on Blu-ray!
As many times as I was asked to see this film I reluctantly missed out on it in the theaters. But now that I know I only have a short wait for the Blu-ray presentation I’m pretty sure I can hold out. And I suppose, since I do live in Cleveland, I should really be able to get into this film. I would think so. Don’t you? After all, Kill The Irishman is a crime action film that tracks the rise and fall of real-life Irish-American mobster Danny Greene in Cleveland during the 1970’s. Starz/Anchor Bay has announced a June 14th Blu-ray release date for the mobster film. If only my grandfather were still alive to see this one. I have a strong premonition that he would like it. The Jonathan Hensleigh directed film stars Ray Stevenson, Vincent D’Onofrio, Val Kilmer and Christopher Walken. The Amazon pre-order is already up. What are you waiting for? Order yours now!
The only two known supplements at this time include a documentary and a theatrical trailer. The audio will be presented in Dolby TrueHD 5.1. That’s all I have to report on as of right now.
I really liked this movie… Didn’t know much about this story, but did some research when I heard the movie was coming out, and it’s pretty interesting… Check it out!
