“Lethal Ladies Of Horror” Resurrected In Los Angeles On March 29th

Artwork page 2-001It’s back!  So last year an announcement was made for a horror-themed movie marathon, the “Lethal Ladies of Horror,” featuring a specific set of films being screened at the Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles, with all kinds of cool giveaways, props from the films, and Q&As with cast and crew.  Unfortunately, the event was cancelled.  Good news has recently emerged though!  The marathon is back and it has dropped off the weakest film in the original lineup in favor of adding an even better film to make a strong set of films to screen.  On March 29th, at the Famed Crest Theatre Westwood in Lost Angeles, the new “Lethal Ladies of Horror” will be screening Night of the Comet, Christine, and Drag Me to Hell.  This event is being brought to audiences by the same folks involved in putting together the “Evil Dead Fest” last year, which screened all four Evil Dead films and was a ton of fun.  This means the films will have a lot of additional fun going on in between movies and within the theater lobby as well, which includes Q&As with cast and crew from the films, prize giveaways, props from the film (such as a very specific car) and more!  Additionally, I have an interview from the stars of Night of the Comet, Catherine Mary Stewart and Kelli Maroney, (HERE) originally done last year in honor of the recent Scream Factory Blu-ray release.  Stewart and Maroney will be among the guests in attendance for a Q&A on the night.  Continue on to learn more about this exciting, upcoming event.

Beginning the evening will be Sam Raimi’s horror classic “Drag Me To Hell” with a special Q&A appearance by evil gypsy woman Lorna Raver.  Next up will be “Night of the Comet”, where lethal ladies Catherine Mary Stewart and Kelli Maroney will be in attendance to represent the 80’s classic for a special 30th Anniversary screening in 35mm.  Finally, Flicks for Fans is proud to not only present a big screen presentation of the John Carpenter classic “Christine”, but there will also be a special viewing of “Christine” herself – the 1958 Plymouth Fury.  This is one of only two cars left in existence that was actually used in the film and it will be on display for fans to enjoy.  Plus as a bonus we will have various cast and crew from “Christine” in house as well for a Q&A after the show.
