Relive Nolan’s Memento All Over Again on Blu-ray

I have to admit something.  After enjoying Nolan’s latest three efforts, I’m looking forward to reliving his Memento masterpiece all over again on the Blu-ray format.  Lionsgate has just announced an all new 10th Anniversary Blu-ray disc of the film scheduled for release on February 22nd.  Put me down for one.  There’s no Amazon pre-order available for the title yet, but if you are curious as to what this release is all about, then check out the small press release below.

Ten years after its powerful theatrical debut, the new classic thriller Memento celebrates its anniversary with the arrival of a new 10th Anniversary Blu-ray Disc release. Written and directed by Christopher Nolan (Inception, The Dark Knight), this mind-bending film debuts with an all-new director-approved high definition transfer.  Suspenseful and unique, Memento stars Guy Pearce (The Hurt Locker) as Leonard, a man who suffers from a rare brain disorder on a mission for revenge.  The 10thAnniversary Blu-ray Disc comes packed with special features including a brand new featurette with the director discussing the legacy of the film, plus the director’s script, audio commentary with Christopher Nolan, the original short story, “Anatomy of a Scene” and more!

Leonard’s life has been stolen from him.  Unable to form new memories, but determined to track down the man who is the cause of his disorder and his wife’s murderer, he must piece together what he remembers from the past in order to determine what is real in the present.

I already have this on blu-ray, but will double dip for this set. Memento is a classic.

I don’t have it on Blu-ray…on my list…so I will wait for this bad boy!

I’m in a wait and see mode for this. I have the Blu-Ray, so there needs to be something worth having extra. And as long as the menus are not a freaking labyrinth of frustration like the collector’s DVD.

It was well done but I prefer Inception and especially The Dark Knight more myself. I don’t need to own this one.

Anatomy of a scene was always my favorite special features… i believe One Hour Photo has this too

    Who’s watched it forward?

    I have.
