Sony’s Monster House Goes 3D on Blu-ray!
Today, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing their second 3D presentation to the Blu-ray format, Monster House. I’ve included the short press release below from Sony. Although there are no screeners available of the title, I’m interested in hearing people’s thoughts who pick this up and how the 3D effect works out for them. In addition to the filmmaker’s commentary there are a total of 8 featurettes and a photo gallery to boot. Check it out (if you have the proper hardware that is).
Monster House tells the animated story of three friends who discover that their neighbor’s house is really a living, breathing scary monster. In addition to bringing the film’s theatrical 3D experience into the home, the Blu-ray 3D release also offers a thrilling fright-fest of special features including eight featurettes, a filmmaker’s commentary and the “Art of Monster House” photo gallery.
