Produced by Pedro and Agustín Almodóvar and written and directed by Damián Szifron, WILD TALES is a truly entertaining and jaw-dropping film about people crossing the line into madness when faced with perceived injustice. This Sony Pictures Classics film features a compelling cast led by renowned Argentinean actor Ricardo Darin (The Secret in Their Eyes). WILD TALES was an official selection at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival and Telluride Film Festival.
The special features take the viewer behind the cameras and onto the festival circuit to witness the creation of WILD TALES in “Wild Shooting: Creating the Film” and “An Evening at the Toronto International Film Festival.”
Synopsis
WILD TALES is a fresco of rage, fury, deception and revenge. Made up of six stories, it is an entertaining and jaw-dropping film about people crossing the line into madness when faced with perceived injustice. A lover’s betrayal, a return to the repressed past, and the violence woven into everyday encounters drive the characters to lose control and cross the line that divides civilization and barbarism.
WILD TALES is written and directed by Damián Szifron and produced by Hugo Sigman, Pedro Almodóvar, Agustín Almodóvar, Esther García and Matías Mosteirín. The film stars Ricardo Darin and Oscar Martínez.
