Don’t Lose Your Head, But ‘SLEEPY HOLLOW’ Hits Blu-ray This September!

First of all:  I love Sleepy Hollow, the breakout supernatural TV series that premiered on Fox last fall, and I would be remiss if I did not mention the fact that myself and fellow Why So Blu? writer Brandon Peters co-hosted a podcast devoted to the entire first season, along with our friend Maxwell Haddad (which can be found HERE).  With that said, clearly Fox recognizes how big a hit this series was, as Sleepy Hollow: The Complete First Season is arriving on Blu-ray on September 16th and it is packed with special features.  This is a series that puts a twist on the classic Washington Irving tale about Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman by turning it into an X-Files like procedural show, set in modern times.  If you think that sounds ridiculous, you would be right, but it is also a very fun show, with surprisingly strong writing, given that the pilot episode features a headless horseman wielding an assault rifle.  Read on to learn more about this upcoming Blu-ray release.
