The Daily Blu…September 8, 2009
It’s been a quiet Tuesday for Blu-ray news, although it sure seemed like a Monday to me. Anyway, I just have a couple tidbits of information to share. Sony has finally nailed down another date for the Blu-ray release of Sex, Lies and Videotape. The rescheduled date has the Blu-ray landing on November 17th. In other Blu-ray news, Warner Home Video has announced they will bring the John Wayne classic The Green Berets to the Blu-ray format on January 5th, 2010. That sounds like such a long ways away, but 2010 will be here before we know it.
I am sure you all heard about the potential super soldier script for Rambo 5 and the desire to take the Resident Evil franchise in a different direction very soon. Speculation is also growing on the web about possibly the Ant Man being the first Marvel/Pixar movie to be made. I guess it all remains to be seen. Have a good night!
