Today was a little busier on the Blu-ray news front, but not by much. First up is a release I am not sure even needs to be made, or mentioned for that matter, but this is the news. Universal Studios has announced that they will re-release the musical Mamma Mia! as Blu-ray gift set on November 10th. Are you ready for this? The title is simply, and I am being sarcastic, Mamma Mia! The Movie – Gimmie! Gimmie! Gimmie! More Blu-ray Gift Set. It will come with extra stuff. Yada, yada, yada…you get the point! Universal Studios also announced a Blu-ray release of How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Amazon is showing an October 6th release date for it. Also listed on Amazon, is a Blu-ray pre-order for Seth McFarlane’s Something Something Something Dark Side. The Family Guy Blu-ray release is rumored to have a retail date of December 22nd.
