The Grudge Plagues Blu-ray This March!
Everyone’s favorite horror movie of 2004, The Grudge, makes its Blu-ray debut this coming march. Sony Pictures has announced a March 10th release date for the Sarah Michelle Gellar horror film. There is no Amazon pre-order up as of yet for the Blu-ray but most o fthe technical specs are known. The Grudge will be released on a BD-50 disc with a 1080P AVC MPEG-4 video encode, a 1.85:1 aspect ratio and a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround audio track. Extras known so far include two audio commentaries, four featurettes (“Myth of the Ju-On,” “Under the Skin,” “Sights and Sounds: The Storyboard Art of Takashi Shimizu,” and “Production Designer’s Notebook: The Sketches of Iwao Saito”) and two short Ju-On films (“4444444444” and “In a Corner”).
