Aliens invade earth after receiving a signal from NASA. But the crew of the John Paul Jones and their comrades engage the attackers in a vicious sea battle. So the Americans and Japanese navies join forces in a fight for the survival of the human race. Directed by Peter Berg, this action Sci-Fi thriller stars Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgård, Brooklyn Decker, Rihanna, and Liam Neeson. The script was written by Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber and produced by Sarah Aubrey, Peter Berg, Brian Goldner, Duncan Henderson, and Bennett Schneir.
