Blu-ray’s Monsters vs. Aliens

DreamWorks Animation and Paramount Home Entertainment has revelaed the technical specs you can expect to find on the upcoming Blu-ray release of Monsters vs. Aliens, which will hit retail shelves on September 29th, day-and-date with the DVD release.  Expect to find a VC-1 video encode with a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.  The real bummer here is there will be NO 3-D version of the movie.  That kind of has me scratching my head a bit, but oh well.  The extras more than make up for the lack of 3-D.  Check them out below (courtesy of www.blu-ray.com).
