CANDYMAN: FAREWELL TO THE FLESH Hits Blu-ray January 6!
The original Candyman is what I consider one of the absolute scariest horror films of all time. Took a while for me to feel okay with looking in a mirror at night time after seeing that movie. Tony Todd will always be associated with that role, but for good reason, he’s outstanding. As was with every horror figure around the time, they couldn’t just be one and done. Everybody gets a sequel. Candyman’s second kill spree was no where near as great as his first one (A tops horror film of all time), but its still a pretty decent movie. If you really want to see bad, then continue moving on to the third one, which was lead by Donna D’Errico (When’s the last time you heard that name?). The first Candyman isn’t available yet in the US for Blu-ray, but there is an all-region edition available. Candyman: Farewell To The Flesh, however, is kicking off the year, and getting a nice release from Scream Factory as the begin 2015.
