Dive Into Blu-ray’s ‘Rabbit Hole’
Living in Cleveland, sometimes you miss the best films of the year in the theater. It’s very easy to do. The little indie films, if they come here, only last for about a week or two and play in obscure theater locations. So with that being said, Rabbit Hole is a film I’m truly looking forward to on Blu-ray this April. There must be a reason why TIME magazine named it as one of their Top 10 Movies of 2010, right? Fret not! The wait is almost over. Lionsgate will be bringing the film to the Blu-ray format on April 19th. For those of you who just can’t wait that long, it will also be available On Demand next week. Check out the short synopsis from Lionsgate below and pre-order your Blu-ray today! Come on! You know you want to!
Penned by acclaimed playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, adapted from his Pulitzer Prize-winning play,Rabbit Hole is a vivid, hopeful, honest and unexpectedly witty portrait of a family searching for what remains possible in the most impossible of all situations. Becca (Kidman) and Howie (Eckhart) are returning to their everyday existence in the wake of a shocking, sudden loss. Just eight months ago, they were a happy suburban family with everything they wanted. Now, they are posing as normal; blindly looking for footing in a sea of new emotions. This is the remarkably moving journey of a couple finding their way back to love.
