Take ‘The Call’ on Blu-ray This June
As much as I had my reservations about seeing this film in the theaters, I actually enjoyed it for what it was. It never took itself too seriously and it had a little something special at the end that put a grin on my face. Say what you want about The Call…it just ain’t that bad as all you naysayers who haven’t seen it make it out to be. So with that being said, why don’t you join Oscar Winner Halle Berry, Abigail Breslin and Morris Chestnut this June 25th when The Call makes its Blu-ray and DVD debut. When a terrified kidnap victim (Breslin) calls 911 from the trunk of a madman’s car, Jordan (Berry) realizes she must confront a killer from her past to put an end to the serial killer’s haunting rampage. Synopsis:
In this heart-pounding, edge-of-your-seat thriller, veteran 911 operator Jordan (Academy Award® Winner Halle Berry,Monster’s Ball, 2001) takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl (Academy Award® nominee Abigail Breslin, Little Miss Sunshine, 2006) who has been kidnapped and thrown into the trunk of a madman’s car. But with the clock ticking, Jordan soon realizes she must confront a killer from her past to put an end to a serial killer’s haunting rampage.
THE CALL has a running time of approximately 118 minutes and is rated R for strong violence, language throughout and brief sexual content/nudity.
