Take 'The Call' on Blu-ray This JuneAs much as I had my reservations about seeing this film in the theaters, I actually enjoyed it for what it was.  It never took itself too seriously and it had a little something special at the end that put a grin on my face.  Say what you want about The Call…it just ain’t that bad as all you naysayers who haven’t seen it make it out to be.  So with that being said, why don’t you join Oscar Winner Halle Berry, Abigail Breslin and Morris Chestnut this June 25th when The Call makes its Blu-ray and DVD debut.  Make sure you pre-order now and check out the full press release below from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

(May 6, 2013) – Academy Award® winner Halle Berry (Best Actress, Monster’s Ball, 2001) stars as a veteran 911 operator who takes a life-altering call from a kidnapped teenage girl, played by  Academy Award®nominee Abigail Breslin (Best Supporting Actress, Little Miss Sunshine, 2006), in THE CALL, debuting on Blu-rayCombo Pack and DVD with UltraViolet June 25th from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. When a terrified kidnap victim (Breslin) calls 911 from the trunk of a madman’s car, Jordan (Berry) realizes she must confront a killer from her past to put an end to the serial killer’s haunting rampage.  THE CALL also stars Morris Chestnut (Identity ThiefThink Like A Man), Michael Imperioli (The Lovely Bones, TV’s “The Sopranos”), Michael Eklund (TV’s “Alcatraz”) and WWE star David Otunga.

The Blu-ray Combo Pack exclusively features an alternate ending, deleted and extended scenes, Michael Eklund’s Audition Tape, and two all-new featurettes taking viewers behind the scenes for set tours and stunt breakdowns.  Both the Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD come with a making-of featurette, as well as commentary by Halle Berry, Abigail Breslin and filmmakers.
