The Daily Blu…August 3, 2009
Today was a pretty slow day in the Blu-ray news front. Let’s see I got about 4 announcements to make. First off, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the Assassination of a High School President on Blu-ray for October 6th. The comedy, which never had a theatrical release, stars Mischa Barton, Reece Daniel Thompson and Bruce Willis. Heavy hitters’ Sony Pictures has also announced an October 13th Blu-ray release date for Adoration. The previously scheduled Warner Brothers’ National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation: Ultimate Collector’s Edition for Blu-ray has been pushed back a week from its October 27th release date. Last but not least is an email sitting in my Outlook Inbox from Lionsgate which announces an October 27th Blu-ray release date for Stargate:15th Anniversary Edition. That’s all the Blu-ray news for today ladies and gentleman!
