A young woman (Scodelario) becomes obsessed with her mysterious new neighbor (Biel) who bears a striking resemblance to the girl’s dead mother. The film also stars Frances O’Connor (Jayne Mansfield’s CarA.I. Artificial Intelligence), Aneurin Barnard (CitadelIronclad) and Jimmi Simpson (White House Down, TV’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”). THE TRUTH ABOUT EMANUEL premiered in the US Dramatic Competition at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
