    If I could go back to my 2011 lists, I’d name this the #1 worst film of the year.

  2. Aaron Neuwirth

    @Matt, Asshole says what?

  3. Matt Goodman

    Really?

  4. Aaron Neuwirth

    That was my response to your post, especially in a world where Jack & Jill exists.

    I’m not saying you have to love the movie, but from a technical standpoint alone, the movie is better than most things that come out in a year.

    While I haven’t seent this movie yet, it’s safe to say that a movie directed by Steven Spielberg even while he was asleep would still be better than 90% of the movies released.

    @Aaron, Adam Sandler has made such a bad name for himself so it’s pretty much a given that any film of his would make it on the list. And I haven’t hated a Spielberg film since The Lost World.

  7. Aaron Neuwirth

    From the way that’s written, I basically agree – “Adam Sandler-type” films just aren’t very good anymore and I also haven’t hated a Spielberg film since The Lost World either (I wouldn’t say hate, just dislike).
