Zombieland Invades Blu-ray!
I am probably one of the last people on Earth who has not seen this year’s smash hit film Zombieland. I would also be lying if I said I was not looking forward to checking this one out on the Blu-ray format…Day 1! Yep ladies and gentlemen…this is a Day #1 Blu-ray blind buy for me. I am going in with high expectations and I am not planning on being disappointed. I mean how could I? The theatrical trailers looked absolutely hysterical and all my friends assured me this is not Shaun of the Dead (even though it is billed as “Superbad meets Shaun of the Dead”).
As we reported yesterday, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a February 2nd Blu-ray release date for Zombieland. The Blu-ray disc will receive a 1080P AVC MPEG-4 treatment with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio surround track. I can’t wait! We also have insider knowledge of what special features will be included too.
