MISCHIEF. MAYHEM. SOAP. BLU-RAY.

Fight Club: 10th Anniversary EditionEarlier today I received the email that made my day even better.  Not only have I been at home getting in some much needed R&R, today being Veteran’s Day, but I also was notified to be on the lookout for my Blu-ray review copy, sometime next week, of the movie that completely changed my life and thought processes.  I’m talking about Fight Club of course!  Never has a movie made such a profound impact on my life.  It was a liberating fresh breath of oxygen that stimulated and brought to life whole brain lobes, within my skull, that I never knew existed.  It freed my mind and changed my life in ways I never knew possible.  I owe it all to my bud Erin.  But enough about me, if I divulge everything now, then I will have nothing to write about in the review.  So without further ado…it is my honor to bestow upon you four essential ingredients…MISCHIEF. MAYHEM. SOAP. BLU-RAY…Fight Club: 10th Anniversary Edition.

Brad Pitt, Edward Norton and Project Mayhem battles onto Blu-ray disc for the first time ever on November 17th from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.  Brand new bonus material includes an interactive search index, interactive design feature, behind-the-scenes at Spike TV’s 2009 Guys Choice Awards and much more!  Not only have I once again provided the full press release below from Fox, but please find some exclusive photos, Blu-ray box art and some information on the interactive websites set up exclusively for this Blu-ray release.  This is one of the BIGGEST catalog releases to hit the Blu-ray format!

The goal of Project Mayhem is to spread the Fight Club ethos – to take the sad man in the office and turn him into a proud beast living a raw, simple primacy.  Go to http://www.welcometofc.com/, log into Facebook and see your personal information, including your name, pictures, location, etc. pulled into a personalized Mayhem.  Within seconds, you can see yourself and your life inside the world of Fight Club, which begs the question – if you wake up at a different time and in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?

[NOTE: The user can then share this experience with others encouraging them to also participate.   Once the video their video has been viewed, the user can post a “generic” version of the Mayhem video onto their own Facebook page.  Due to Facebook privacy restrictions, once a user’s video has been created, it cannot be stored.]

LOS ANGELES, CA Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you’re alive. If you don’t claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned… Tyler

Clever, savagely witty and dark, Fight Club: 10th Anniversary Edition, arrives on Blu-ray Disc (BD) November 17 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The Fight Club: 10th Anniversary Edition BD is packed full of punches with all-new bonus materials including two interactive featurettes – “A Hit In The Ear: Ren Klyce and the Sound Design of Fight Club” which allows users to remix four key scenes themselves with the help of OscarÒ-nominated sound designer Ren Klyce; and “Insomniac Mode: I Am Jack’s Search Index,” giving viewers the ability to access any part of the disc’s extensive bonus material via interactive tools.

“The BD also features behind-the-scenes with Fincher, Pitt and Norton as they accept the Guy Movie Hall of Fame honor for Fight Club at SPIKE TV’S 2009 GUYS CHOICE Awards, commentary by Fincher, Palahniuk, Pitt, Norton and Helena Bonham Carter, “Welcome To Fight Club” featurette, seven deleted scenes, a music video, photo gallery and much more.
