The fourth installment in the Step Up franchise continued to deliver on what the series does best; showcase some incredible dancing that features a combination of hip hop, ballet and expressionist choreography with an emphasis on the hip hop part.  The cast excels in their dance ability amidst a backdrop of romance, a little soul-searching and doing the right thing.  This autumn, Step Up Revolution comes home to Blu-ray and DVD!

Love and dance take center stage in Step Up Revolution, the latest film inthe wildly popular Step Up franchise, arriving on 3-D Blu-ray (includes 3-D and standard version of the film plus Digital Copy plus UV), DVD (includes Digital Copy plus UV), Digital Download, On Demand and Pay-Per-View this November from Summit Entertainment, a LIONSGATE company. Featuring the hottest hip-hop soundtrack and jaw-dropping dance moves, Step Up Revolution stars up-and-coming performers, dancer Kathryn McCormick (TV’s “So You Think You Can Dance”) and MMA fighter and model Ryan Guzman making his feature film debut.

Touching upon themes of love, injustice and hope, the film, set in Miami, follows two dancers leading a crew in cutting-edge dance performances that ultimately rally the locals to protest against planned commercial development that would wipe out their homes and businesses.  The fourth installment in the fan-favorite film franchise Step Up, Step Up Revolution is directed by Scott Speer, written by Amanda Brody and based on characters created by Duane Adler, and produced by Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot, Patrick Wachsberger and Erik Feig.

Just in time for the gift giving season, the Step Up Revolution 3-D Blu-ray Disc and DVD contains more than two hours of special features including deleted scenes, music videos from J. Lo and Timbaland, multiple featurettes and commentary with the director, choreographer and several cast members. The Step Up Revolution 3-D Blu-ray Disc and DVD will be available November 27 for the suggested retail price of $39.99 and $29.95, respectively.
