The Rocker Rocks onto Blu-ray Jan. 27th

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced that they will bring the Rainn Wilson comedy The Rocker to the Blu-ray format next year, January 27th.  It will come to the Blu-ray format with hours of bonus fatures and a Digital Copy that will be compatible with all your favorite portable devices.

The Blu-ray will come on a BD-50 disc and will be presented in a 1080P AVC video encode, with a 1.85:1 aspect ratio.  The audio cut of choice will be a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio surround track.

Fox has also released the list of special features that will be included on the Blu-ray release.  The to-be-included extras are as follows.

  • Digital Copy movie file for portable media players
  • Commentary with director Peter Cattaneo and actor Rainn Wilson
  • Commentary with actors Josh Gad, Teddy Geiger, Emma Stone and Jason Sudeikis
  • 10 Deleted Scenes
  • Gag Reel (including separate options of “Matt Gags” and “Vesuvius Gags”)
