It’s that time of the year. What a glorious time it is! The excitement’s practically in the air! Can you smell it yet? The spotlight is once again on one of the most beautiful cities in the United States, San Diego, CA! Like that Beastie Boys’ song, “No Sleep Till Brooklyn,” the same can be said for your experience at Comic-Con International, the largest annual gathering of geeks like me in the world. How sweet it is! Movie stars, comic artists, cosplay, vendors, movie studios, exclusives and so much more all vying for your attention and awaiting you for five mind blowing days! I have been going to Comic-Con ever since 2009 and each year it keeps getting bigger and better. However, that doesn’t mean it gets less chaotic at all, quite the contrary. Every year it seems more crowded and packed, and if you want to see anything in Hall H, at least Thursday through Saturday, be prepared to camp out overnight. For these reasons and more I put together some tips below culled from my personal experiences that will hopefully get fellow Con goers this year the maximum bang for their buck. Good luck! 
We wanted to remind you that Ash vs Evil Dead will be at San Diego Comic Con this week when STARZ brings their highly anticipated new original series Ash vs Evil Dead, (first season premieres Fall 2015) featuring cast and creators including Executive Producers and original filmmakers Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell, plus star Lucy Lawless, Showrunner Craig DiGregorio, and Co-Executive Producer Ivan Raimi. Got some time to kill while strolling the streets of San Diego this week? You like LEGO? If you answered yes to either of those questions, we have you covered with some good news!. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will be showcasing LEGO Dimensions at the Hard Rock Hotel from Thursday through Sunday with hands-on gameplay demos, including a first-look at Doctor Who gameplay content, special events, photo ops and poster giveaways (while supplies last). KISS, Epic Rights, Bif Bang Pow!, and Entertainment Earth proudly present a rare autograph signing session with KISS at the Entertainment Earth booth #2343 during San Diego Comic-Con 2015. KISS members Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer are scheduled to sign autographs at the Entertainment Earth booth on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. All signings at the booth are free, but require a ticket. Details on how to obtain a randomly distributed ticket will be available at the Entertainment Earth booth on the first day of the show. TNT is bringing the explosive dramas The Last Ship and Falling Skies to Comic-Con International: San Diego 2015. TNT’s presence at the annual gathering will include all-star panels for both series, plus an Oculus Rift virtual reality experience that puts fans of The Last Ship in the middle of the action. Among the many stars set to participate are The Last Ship‘s Eric Dane, Rhona Mitra, Adam Baldwin, Travis Van Winkle, Jocko Sims and Marissa Neitling, along with Falling Skies‘ Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Drew Roy, Sarah Carter, Connor Jessup, Colin Cunningham and Doug Jones. Nickelodeon presents San Diego Comic-Con attendees with three panels this year: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; SpongeBob SquarePants; and Nickelodeon Animation featuring Sanjay and Craig, which will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at Sanjay and Craig, Harvey Beaks and the upcoming series Pig Goat Banana Cricket and The Loud House. During each hour-long panel, voice cast and executive producers will show special sneak peeks, screen a brand-new episode and reveal never-before-seen content. San Diego Comic-Con attendees will be among the first to check out We Bare Bears, Cartoon Network’s latest animated series, with premiere screenings, an immersive booth experience, signings, giveaways, and more! We Bare Bears will premiere Monday, July 27 at 6:30 p.m. (ET, PT) on Cartoon Network. They also are there to present a back-to-back Fandemonium Panel Extravaganza featuring Regular Show & Uncle Grandpa followed by Adventure Time & Steven Universe. Both panels are hosted by Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) the voice of Panda on We Bare Bears. BBC AMERICA’s Doctor Who returns to San Diego Comic-Con for a Hall H panel on Thursday, July 9. Following his record-breaking first season as the Doctor, Peter Capaldi will make his first ever appearance at Comic-Con with stars Jenna Coleman (Clara Oswald), Michelle Gomez (Missy), lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat and executive producer Brian Minchin. Doctor Who follows the adventures of the Doctor, the time traveler, who will continue to journey through all of space and time in epic adventures in the new season premiering this fall. Capaldi’s first season delivered BBC AMERICA its highest rated season ever and is available now on all digital platforms.
