The sizzling thriller Careful What You Wish For, starring Nick Jonas (Goat, “Scream Queens”), Isabel Lucas (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Red Dawn, Immortals), Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas, Romeo + Juliet), Graham Rogers (Love & Mercy, Crazy Kind of Love, “Quantico”), and Dermot Mulroney (The Family Stone, My Best Friend’s Wedding, “Shameless”), will be available on DVD August 2, 2016 from Anchor Bay Entertainment. Directed and written by John Harlow (Dangerous Cargo), Appointment with Crime stars William Hartnell (TV’s original Doctor Who or “the first doctor” for us fans) & Raymond Lovell (49th Parallel). The stylish British noir co-stars Herbert Lom (A Shot in the Dark) as the reptilian crime lord Gregory Lang and Joyce Howard (Shadow of the Past) as Carol Dane, a woman drawn to the dangerous Leo Martin. Roots chronicles the life of Haley’s ancestor Kuna Kinte from his birth in Africa all the way through his life as a slave into old age. We witness through all these years, thorough the beatings, the mutilations and humiliations how he still fought to hold onto his given name and heritage.

This is the kind of movie where you really have to go into it with a sense of lightheartedness and fun. Mr. Right is by no means something one should take seriously at all. Now I’m not saying that this is a BAD thing. I’m simply trying to prepare you for some pretty wack stuff! The best way I’ve found to describe it would be if the Deadpool movie had a prequel about Wade’s life before he got his super powers. The film opens with Martha, (Anna Kendrick) who has just broken up with her boyfriend in what could only be described as hilariously awful. While still in a haze from her bizarre ordeal, she encounters a charming stranger (Sam Rockwell) at the the supermarket who turns out to be a “reformed” assassin. And by reformed I mean, he no longer kills people for money. Instead, he kills those who HIRE him to kill people. Because murder is wrong.
