Hey folks! I just wanted to share the latest news I just received from our Universal PR person. The new trailer for Universal Pictures’ By The Sea has just debuted online. Written, directed and produced by Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie Pitt, By The Sea serves as her directorial follow-up to Universal Pictures’ epic Unbroken. Interestingly enough the dramatic film stars Brad Pitt and Jolie Pitt, who are supported by an international ensemble led by Mélanie Laurent, Melvil Poupaud, Niels Arestrup and Richard Bohringer. On August 25th, Anchor Bay Entertainment gives home entertainment fans their annual Walker fix with The Walking Dead: The Complete Fifth Season Blu-ray + Digital HD and DVD releases. Each 5-disc set presents all sixteen gripping episodes from the series that has single-handedly redefined the zombie genre. True to the tradition of the previously released seasons, The Walking Dead: The Complete Fifth Season arrives jam-packed with three hours of insightful and provocative bonus features that give viewers yet another inside glimpse into creating the fallen world of the Walkers and the souls brave – and crazy – enough to attempt survival. So one of the major story arcs of The Walking Dead: The Complete Fifth Season involved Beth’s kidnapping and the group’s efforts to get her back. It’s a double dip, sure, but come on it’s Star Wars!!! As the galaxy prepares for the next generation of Star Wars, the six epic films will each release as commemorative Blu-ray steelbooks on November 10th. These highly collectible films will be available for a limited time only and can be pre-ordered beginning August 7th. In addition, Star Wars: The Complete Saga will be released in newly repackaged artwork on October 13th. The announcements were made today by The Walt Disney Studios, Lucasfilm Ltd., and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. 
It’s here! I wrote about my love for this trailer last month when Director Tim Miller, Ryan Reynolds, and the cast showed up at Comic-Con with the red-band trailer. Of course, this isn’t as long as what they brought, but it’s still great nonetheless. The costume’s great, the jokes are funny, the action is violent, and Colossus is gleefully silly. The panel was one of the highlights of Comic-Con; they expressed how shocked (and thankful) they felt that the studio allowed them to make a hard-R Deadpool film. A lot of energy and passion went into the making of this film, so I’m crossing my fingers that it lives up to the joy I’m feeling right now.

Exciting news! Sony Pictures is re-releasing one of my all time favorite films, Bram Stoker’s Dracula! The Francis Ford Coppola classic launches the Supreme Cinema Series line on Blu-ray™ and Digital HD on Oct. 6, which includes 24-pages of rare photos, behind-the-scenes detail and an all-new personalized written introduction from Director Francis Ford Coppola. Coppola, along with his son, Second Unit/Visual Effects Director, Roman Coppola, together participated in a new, on-camera retrospective, reflecting on how the film has impacted their lives and careers. The bonus features also offer the original 1993 commentary with Francis Ford Coppola, Roman Coppola and Makeup Supervisor Greg Cannom.

Here’s some interesting news to come across my desk today. Game of Thrones fans who are used to waiting eight months to own the latest season can rejoice: Winter is Coming earlier than ever! That’s right, Game of Thrones: The Complete Fifth Season will be available to download on Digital HD on my birthday, August 31, 2015, just two months after its finale on HBO, before debuting on Blu-ray & DVD next year. This is the first time the iconic series, which has been nominated for 24 Emmy Awards including Outstanding Drama Series, will be available to download before its physical release. The Digital HD full-season download is packed with bonus content at select retailers, including two never-before-seen pieces introducing fans to Dorne, the newest Westeros location introduced in Season 5, and exploring the many poisons used throughout the show. 
Want to know what Michael Bay has been up to since that last horrible Transformers film? Well good because I’m about to tell you. This one is fresh in my head as we just saw the first trailer for it last night during the press screening of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation so ladies and gentlemen may introduce to you the world premiere trailer of 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
