I have no idea what the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is going to be like (though I’m optimistic). That said, there is a brand new mobile game for it and it’s available now. I spent some time playing it and it is quite enjoyable. Come to think of it, TMNT games have generally been fun to play throughout history, I mean Turtles In Time is great! Regardless, for mobile games, this is a fun one to check out. Continue reading this post to see a trailer for the new game and learn how you can download it for your mobile device.

Narrated by Katie Couric, FED UP blows the lid off everything we thought we knew about food and exercise, revealing a 30-year campaign by the food industry – aided by the U.S. government – to mislead and confuse the American public. Exposing the hidden truths contributing to one of the largest health epidemics in history, the film follows a group of families battling to lead healthier lives – and reveals why the conventional wisdom of “exercise and eat right” is not ringing true for millions of people struggling with diabetes, childhood obesity and other serious conditions. Including captivating interviews with the country’s leading experts, this vital information could change the way we eat forever. Continue reading ‘Food Doc FED UP Comes To Blu-ray Sept 9th!’

The devastating horror of a nuclear apocalypse is now reality and nine desperate strangers find themselves clinging to life in a farmhouse cellar, while radioactive fallout descends on the darkened world above. These would-be survivors face the nightmare of dwindling supplies, poisonous air and the greatest threat of all – the hordes of zombie-like refugees who want in. With each dying day, their choice becomes clearer – stay and let the makeshift shelter become their tomb or face the unknown terrors of the world outside. Starring Edward Furlong, Monica Keena, Andre Royo and C.J. Thomason, AFTERMATH takes a hard look at how far humans will go to survive. And it isn’t pretty.

Can you believe it was 9 years ago since we last saw Sin City on the big screen? To be honest with you, I can’t believe that much time has gone by. And now there’s an announcement that possibly a third film has been green lit. All I can do is hope and pray that it doesn’t take another nine years to put it out. So if you weren’t at Comic-Con this past week, don’t fret. Having first made its debut at Comic Con, the first trailer for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is now out and it certainly does the job of making this feel like a conclusion of sorts. While I have not been the biggest fan of these Hobbit movies, I certainly look forward to seeing them and appreciate a lot about them. Now Peter Jackson has come closer to wrapping up his second trilogy and appears to be doing so with a film that feels the most in line with Lord of the Rings yet. Also of note, this week is Amazon having a sale on the original Lord of the Rings for 68% off the original price. Continue on to see the trailer, the new poster, and check to out this deal!

Michael Myers was out in full force this past weekend to spread word of his new box set coming this fall at San Diego Comic Con this past weekend. So much in force, there were nine iterations of himself to cover the grounds. This band of Michaels wandered the convention halls and exteriors. Then, outside, they stopped people in the streets with their…stalking…slashing…chilling…dance moves? That’s right, Michael was the hottest thing on the dancefloo-sidewalk. Below is a video of this performance. If you haven’t pre-ordered this amazing box set yet, do so after the video clip. Its so close but so far away from being here! This video will help you while you anticipate!

While there may not have been a panel dedicated to The Hunger Games in Hall H at Comic Con this year, there was certainly a Hunger Games presence at Comic Con in general, which was apparently also tied with Best Buy, among other establishments, as The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 debuted the new trailer in various forms (via Samsung tablets in some cases) over the weekend. Now it is available to see online and while it is pretty simple, the little that needs to be done to sell a movie like this is being handled pretty well. Given the presence of Philip Seymour Hoffman, along with new characters played by Julianne Moore and Natalie Dormer, the potential quality is emphasized over revealing info on the plot, which served the previous two films quite well. The film hits this November, continue on to see the trailer.

Fargo is a favorite movie of mine. A TV show based on Fargo could have been a disaster, but FX pulled through to deliver one of the best TV seasons of recent years. I am excited for this release: The first instalment of Fargo features an all-new “true crime” story and follows a new case and new characters, all entrenched in the trademark humor, murder and “Minnesota nice” that made the film an enduring classic. Oscar® winner Billy Bob Thornton stars as “Lorne Malvo,” a rootless, manipulative man who meets and forever changes the life of small town insurance salesman “Lester Nygaard,” played by BAFTA Award® winner and Emmy®-nominated Martin Freeman. Colin Hanks plays Duluth Police Deputy “Gus Grimly,” a single dad who must choose between his own personal safety and his duty as a policeman when he comes face-to-face with a killer. Allison Tolman also stars as “Molly Solverson,” an ambitious Bemidji deputy. Fargo is written by Noah Hawley. Hawley, Warren Littlefield, Joel & Ethan Coen and Geyer Kosinski serve as executive producers.
