I’ve received thousands of emails asking where my list is, and I’m happy to report that the time has come! Sure, this is late, but it’s worth it, trust me. There were too many to list, so I just went ahead and LISTED THEM ALL! Below are all the best, listed in order of release date.
I can’t believe it has been another year of rocking and rolling here at Why So Blu?. Once again, it is my Top-10 Blu-ray list of the year — some may or may not come as a surprise but most should be no-brainers for the most part. I do not know if I will be crossing streams with my fellow WSB writers, but that’s half the fun. In any event, the following list does not examine film merit at all. It is all about the best bang for your Blu-ray buck. It is all about presentation, special features, and bells & whistles. It’s as simple as that. Without further ado I give you my favorite Blu-rays of 2017. Enjoy! 
Revisit the masterful fantasy epic from the brilliant imagination of Jim Henson when THE DARK CRYSTAL debuts on 4K Ultra HD™ and returns to Blu-ray™ and digital on March 6 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The visually spectacular tale of a young hero who must find a legendary relic in order restore harmony to the universe has been fully restored in 4K from the original camera negative. Additionally, the Blu-ray is housed in a lavish, limited edition 24-page Digibook, complete with rare archival photos and behind-the-scenes stories. Dark Sky Films today announced the official release date of VICTOR CROWLEY, the surprise fourth film in the fan-favorite Hatchet franchise. The film will be released on VOD, Digital and Blu-ray and DVD on February 6, 2018. Kept tightly under wraps for over two years, the slasher reboot unexpectedly debuted this past August. The highly anticipated release was shown in theaters across the country in October as part of the “Victor Crowley Road Show.”
