The trailer for Universal Pictures’ The Visit has just debuted online. I remember seeing this one before Unfriended (that’s a whole other story) and thought it looked really good and then I saw the name M. Night Shyamalan and sunk in my seat. I have a love/hate relationship with the man, but nevertheless I’m a professional and willing to give the man another chance to win me over with his newest entry in the horror genre, The Visit. After all, it is produced by Jason Blum who has been hitting one homer after another lately. Continue reading ‘Debut of M. Night Shyamalan’s ‘The Visit’ Trailer’

Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers. However, none of those names will move ticket sales like the red hot Chris Pratt will. He is joined by a cast that consists of Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, BD Wong and Judy Greer. Check out the new trailer and poster that made their debut today down below. Continue reading ‘Jurassic World’s New Trailer and Poster Debut!’

Well, we’ve been waiting what seems like forever for this moment since it was made “official” not too long ago. This is our second and a meatier look at STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, the seventh film in the official Star Wars saga. It was unveiled today at Celebration, the big time Star Wars convention. People will clamor for “more, more” but do we need much else to sell us on what will likely be one of the biggest films of the year (And who knows, all time?). This is an exciting year to be a Star Wars fan as new canon material continues to flow in and will step up its game even more in the fall. For what its worth, I’m really loving the Marvel comics line covering a lot of ground between Star Wars and The Empire Strikes back. Anywho, lets get to this darn trailer. Click and watch it a billion times today. Just make sure you’re continually coming back to Why So Blu when you do so! I have a lot of friends that should be very happy about this trailer based on the HBO Comedy series. Movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), together with his boys, Eric (Kevin Connolly), Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) and Johnny (Kevin Dillon), are back…and back in business with super-agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven). Some of their ambitions have changed, but the bond between them remains strong as they navigate the capricious and often cutthroat world of Hollywood. And about 11 hours ago Warner Bros. dropped on the Earth Entourage’s “Official Main Trailer.” Enjoy it below! Continue reading ‘Entourage – The Official Main Trailer’

Here’s a film I am very excited for. Guillermo del Toro has a gothic horror story coming out this October and we now have the first look at it. The film stars Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, and Charlie Hunnam. This looks like something completely fitting for del Toro and given his attitude on film, he certainly knows how to put his all in each one of his features. Check it out for yourself, with this teaser trailer, pics, and new poster for the film Crimson Peak!

Amy Schumer has proven to be a unique comic voice in the past few years, given her rise in popularity, which includes her very funny and risque Comedy Central series, Inside Amy Schumer. Now she has teamed up with director Judd Apatow for Trainwreck, a romantic comedy that very much looks like a film fitting of these two individuals sensabilities. Also: it has wrestling star John Cena being funny, which is a big plus. The cast also features Bill Hader, Brie Larson, Tilda Swinton and comedy superstar LeBron James. I’m excited to see this film, but for now, everyone can check out both a red-band and green-band trailer, along with some images and a poster for the film!

I see a lot of promise here. Straight Outta Compton reunites Ice Cube and director F. Gary Gray (Friday!) for a film that chronicles the early lives of Cube, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, once known together as N.W.A. I am not usually one to check out red-band trailers (they tend to give away the goods, especially with comedies), but it seems harder not to sell a film like this without one. That in mind, again, I see a lot of promise and I tend to like what F. Gary Gray puts out (The Negotiator!). We will see come this August, but for now, check out the trailer and pics from the film in this post.

It should be no surprise that Furious 7 is one of my most anticipated films of the year. All the main players return and the cast gets all the added value in the world in the way of Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou, and Tony Jaa, among others. Now under James Wan’s direction, the action looks pretty incredible as well. This is a film that seemingly has it all, as far as mainstream blockbusters go and I cannot wait to see it at least a couple times on the big screen. With all that in mind, this latest entry in the enduring franchise has an all new trailer out, which is packed with action, along with a little more context for what is going on. There are also a slew of new photos as well, so continue on to see it all!
