Two of the funniest and best comedies on television right now are having their previous seasons hit the Blu-ray marketplace just in time for their next seasons. Silicon Valley and VEEP will be returning this Spring to follow Game of Thrones on HBO for one of the best Sunday nights of television on any channel during the whole entire year. Academy Award© winner Natalie Portman (Black Swan, Star Wars Episodes I-III, The Professional) stars in Gavin O’Connor’s action-packed western Jane Got a Gun, available on Digital HD April 15 from Starz Digital, and on Blu-ray™, DVD and On Demand from Anchor Bay Entertainment April 26. Hailed as a “sturdy, well-crafted genre piece” by the Los Angeles Times, Jane Got a Gun also stars Joel Edgerton (Black Mass, The Gift, The Great Gatsby), Ewan McGregor (August: Osage County, The Island), Rodrigo Santoro (Focus, 300: Rise of an Empire), Noah Emmerich (TV’s “The Americans”, Little Children), and Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl, Run All Night). The screenplay is written by Brian Duffield (Insurgent), Anthony Tambakis (Warrior) and Joel Edgerton, with story by Brian Duffield. 
I have to admit, I wasn’t the biggest fan of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad when it was announced and especially after seeing stills of the Killer Croc or whatever his name is. However, everything started to shift emotionally within me when the first trailer dropped. Then came the next and so on and they just get better. Despite not being a huge Margot Robbie fan, she actually has me excited for his portrayal of Harley Quinn. In fact, the only one who has me nervous now is Jared Leto’s performance of my beloved Joker. He just doesn’t look right, but all will be forgiven when this film rocks my world in August, right? Absolutely! 
It’s no surprise that Marvel has rebooted the Black Panther series. After all, they have their blockbuster movie, Captain America: Civil War, coming out May 6th, which will be introducing T’challa, the Black Panther, to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s not at all uncommon for Marvel to hype looming movies by pushing related video games, action figures, and comics leading up the release date. Sometimes these endeavors are more about raising awareness, and of course, making a buck, which can unfortunately compromise the integrity of the project. I’ve seen it many times before, which is why I’m so happy to report that Black Panther isn’t just a marketing device. It’s an ambitious, original, top notch book which has quickly become a must read for me.

Lucasfilm’s Rogue One, which takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, tells the story of unlikely heroes who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star. And boy does this look like Kathleen Kennedy and company are going to keep on their roll. Mon Mothma! Donnie Yen kicking butt! AT-ATs in a tropical beach battle!
