The DVD release will include all 24 half-hour episodes from the third season, plus never-before-seen extras including deleted scenes and a gag reel. In its third season on CBS, 2 Broke Girls delivered an average of more than nine million viewers weekly and was one of network TV’s top four sitcoms among Adults 18–49. 2 Broke Girls returns for a fourth season in late fall, airing Mondays 8/7c on CBS.

I did not get to see Joe in theaters due to it opening in only handful of cities and the one screening that was in my area was still quite a ways away. I had heard some rumblings about how good he film was and about how good Nicolas Cage was. I’m always glad when I can discover something new on Blu-ray. Joe is directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express, Your Highness), so it was a real surprise to see his name in the credits. It’s also really cool when directors transcend genres. I like when science fiction films – at least ones that look high quality make it under the radar for review. I knew nothing of The Machine, with exception to Caity Lotz starring in the film. She may be familiar to some, because she’s in another show that I do not watch called Green Arrow. Ever hear of it? 😉 What little I did read of The Machine was that it was the second coming of Blade Runner and such. Okay, that’s a bold statement but it did pique my interest. The film will be released theatrically on 29 August 2014 and will open at the BFI Southbank and other selected cinemas nationwide, and will feature as part of Scalarama’s core programme throughout September http://scalarama.com/. This will be followed by a Dual Format (Blu-ray & DVD) edition as part of Eureka’s award-winning the Masters of Cinema Series on 29 September 2014. Sunday March 31, 1974 is a landmark date in the history of rock music. It is now celebrated in the multi format release of a rare recording made at legendary London venue The Rainbow, of a concert by a then up-and-coming band called Queen. Few who turned up for that iconic performance could have predicted they would go on to become arguably the world’s best and most successful rock group, although many more may have suspected it after this stunning show. Among the unique material contained in this release are over a dozen tracks never previously released on any official Queen live album. The release will come in CD, Vinyl and standard DVD or SD Blu-Ray formats available as standard releases or special limited edition sets as well as digital formats. On July 22 2014, Eagle Rock Entertainment will release Live At Montreux 2013 by ZZ Top on DVD, Blu-ray and digital formats. Live At Montreux 2013 is packed with classic ZZ Top hits including: “La Grange,” “Gimme All Your Lovin,’” “Pincushion,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” “Waitin’ For The Bus,” “Legs,” “Tube Snake Boogie,” “Tush,” and many more. The set list blends tracks from early seventies albums such as “Tres Hombres” and “Fandango” through their eighties blockbuster period with “Eliminator” and “Afterburner” and up to their most recent release and return to their blues roots with “La Futura.” The middle section of the concert features a jazz-blues tribute to the late Montreux Festival founder Claude Nobs with guest appearances by Mike Flanigin on Hammond Organ and Van Wilks on guitar. You know me, I’m always for some good television, especially shows that deal with the nitty gritty of the streets of Los Angeles. I also like police drama shows and such. I understand that Major Crimes is a spin-off show from The Closer, which I never saw an episode of. I saw that it ran for almost ten years. Some of the old cast have to transferred to Major Crimes, which is cool with me. The complete second season on DVD runs at a nice and hefty 19-episodes and has quite a few special features.
