I feel like a broken record saying this, but never in a million years did I ever think I’d be back in a theater seat giving another M. Night Shyamalan film a chance, or even a second thought for that matter. After Earth and The Last Airbender were the straw that broke the camel’s back for […]

The trailer for Universal Pictures’ The Visit has just debuted online. I remember seeing this one before Unfriended (that’s a whole other story) and thought it looked really good and then I saw the name M. Night Shyamalan and sunk in my seat. I have a love/hate relationship with the man, but nevertheless I’m a professional and […]

This is not really a post of joy, but every year does see the release of films that are just not good. I do not try to seek out these films, with the majority being ones that I did think could have redeemable elements, but that just wasn’t the case here. This list contains what […]

To start things off, Devil a solid genre film. The film is the first of a film series known as “The Night Chronicles.” The films in this series will all be produced by M. Night Shyamalan, based on stories that he has come up with. Fortunately, he is not the screenwriter or director of these […]

Avatar, oops I mean The Last Airbender, is the first film of a planned trilogy. So get used to the name because I don’t suspect we shall be forgetting it anytime soon. This newest M. Night Shyamalan film is a live-action film adaptation based on the first season of the animated television series Avatar: The […]
